From the earliest stirrings of human consciousness, humankind has engaged in tribal and societal participation. Whether or not such participation aligned perfectly with contemporary standards of science, astronomy, or botany is not my primary concern. What matters is the indisputable fact that these peoples elicited genuine meaning from their participatory engagement with the world.

We left off last time with Ezekiel’s prophecy of Israel’s return as One Kingdom no longer being divided into two . In Ezekiel 37:26 an “everlasting” covenant will be made with God as the Tabernacle in the midst of His people for evermore.

1. Colossians 1:19-20 — ὅτι ἐν αὐτῷ εὐδόκησεν πᾶν τὸ πλήρωμα κατοικῆσαι καὶ δι’ αὐτοῦ ἀποκαταλλάξαι τὰ πάντα εἰς αὐτόν (hoti en autō eudokēsen pan to plērōma katoikēsai kai di’ autou apokatallaxai ta panta eis auton) — through him to reconcile all things to himself, whether on earth or in heaven.
